Hello, my name is Angela.  I live with my husband Dave on the South Coast of England. 

Some years ago we had 2 Japanese female students stay with us.  We had a wonderful time and still keep in touch with both of them. 

They taught me some origami.

  Over the last couple of years I have attended some classes on Japanese figures based on origami.  I incorporate these into my greeting cards.

In November 2005 Dave and I went to Japan.  We had a wonderful time and whilst there were able to buy lots of Wa-shi paper and patterns for more Japanese figures.

This is what I use for my Japanese little people.

The paper is quite thick and comes in many colours and patterns.

All my cards are now made with either genuine Wa-shi paper and origami paper on occasions.  

It is a very interesting hobby.
